When leaves, fruit skins or almond shells are used rather than discarded, not only is waste avoided, but the materials created are completely biodegradable. Better still, they are often compostable, one of the most efficient methods of transforming refuse. Maderón® is a new material substitute derived from inert woods such as almond shells or other ligno-celluloses. Maderón® can be moulded, which opens up new and interesting opportunities for the industry. It can replace and even improve the qualities of other materials such as wood. The case of this Domotic System is injection-moulded Maderón®. Gift from the designers.
