Recycled aluminium saves up to 95% energy and causes to 90% less emissions in comparison to the primary production process of aluminium. Recycling of aluminium does not influence the quality of the material, so all characteristics are preserved. The low melting temperature and easy transformation of aluminium make it appropriate for recycling. Repeated reuse gives aluminium an almost everlasting lifecycle. In the Netherlands, 70% of the generated aluminium scrap is recycled in one or another way. The aluminium that was used to produce the installation system for this exhibition was sponsored by the manufacturer.
