Usage
The WavePlane is a system for harvesting renewable energy from the waves. It works as a pump without moving parts. The aim with WavePlane is to produce electricity at a lower cost than using conventional energy sources such as oil, coal and gas. Two systems are developed, the Oxygen-WavePlane, which is used to oxidise water areas with low content of oxygen, and the Energy-WavePlane, which produces electricity through hydro turbines. The WavePlanes work in waves highs from 10 cm to several meters. The WavePlane can be used in any application where water streams can be utilised, e.g. converting seawater to freshwater, removing oil spills, extracting minerals from seawater or filtering polluted water. The WavePlane is the first wave power station that transforms the irregular movement of the waves to an even and fast rotating stream. The energy in the waves crashing onto the coasts of the world is sufficient to cover the present world consumption of electricity five times over. Gift from the manufacturer.
