Gulliver, the world’s most economical printing type. Communication through the medium of print continues to grow, even though reading from screens is becoming more important. Corporations and other organizations consume untold quantities of paper every year. Gulliver, designed by the Dutch Gerard Unger, saves at least 8% of the printing area, while at the same time legibility is improved. Paper saving is not reserved to office printing only, however. Books, newspapers and magazines too can greatly benefit from it, as well as other objects that carry a lot of text. The initial saving in space combined with careful intelligent design can lead to a considerable saving of paper. On loan from the manufacturer.
