Manufacturing
This shoe for peasants was made for the first time in Mallorca in 1928, re-using truck tyres for the soles, old carriage canvas and leather scraps. In 1975 Camper began creating Camaleón, the recycled shoe for peasants of the Mallorcan countryside. Today Camper continues to make Camaleón, but in a more respectful, sustainable and contemporay way. Today these Camaleóns are 100% recycled and recyclable and anti-static: able to discharge the static energy accumulated by the body, which some think may cause several organic diseases. Gift from the manufacturer.
