To make discarded bottles as compact as possible: lift the sliding element, lay the top of the bottle on the base, grip the 'aerials', and then press the sliding element with your foot. At this point the element will drop to compress the bottle. This simple job will cut both waste collection and transport costs considerably. While not in use, Cricket converts into a doorstop, thus doubling its usefulness. Gift from the manufacturer.
