This glass is an example of traditional recycling. The poor, the thrifty and the imaginative have always recycled. Clothing is worn and re-worn, remade and handed down, its scraps ultimately reused in quilts and toys. Wine bottles are remelted and transformed. Here the green colour of recycled glass is kept to a minimum. The fresh design of the simple forms rediscovers the taste for simplicity. Gift of the manufacturer.
